The University of Rochester LGBTQ+ Pride Scholarship is available to academically excellent self-identified LGBTQ+ students who are excited to expand Rochester's passionate and diverse community, inclusive of sexual and gender identities. The Arent Fox Diversity Scholarships will be awarded to rising second-year law students in good standing, at an ABA-accredited law school in the U.S. Applicants must be scheduled to graduate in 2026. Applicants must also have excellent college and law school academic performance; excellent oral and written communication skills; have demonstrated leadership qualities, work experience, and community involvement; be authorized to work in the US; and be a member of a diverse population that historically has been underrepresented in the legal profession. ArentFox Schiff defines diversity broadly, including gender, race or ethnicity, LGBTQ+, Disabilities, First Generation Student Students, Veterans status, socioeconomic status, and any other historically underrepresented category. Applicants must also have a strong interest in joining the Firm as an associate after law school graduation. Applicants must submit a legal writing sample that must be exclusively their own work. The sample may be from your legal writing course in law school. Three references, professional or academic references, are also required. Letters of recommendation are optional. The University of San Francisco School of Management LGBTQ Merit Award is open to an outstanding applicant(s) who demonstrates service to or achievement in the gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender community. Applicants may identify as a member or ally of the LGBTQ community. Merit scholarships are awarded to students who have demonstrated superior academic and/or professional achievements and outstanding talent or commitment to extracurricular activities, community service, leadership, and entrepreneurship. The WJA Foundation provides scholarships to female-identifying students enrolled in jewelry, metalsmithing or watch programs at an accredited college, university, or training school between August 1, 2024 and July 31, 2025. Scholarships are awarded in three categories: (1) Designer/Creator: based on images of finished pieces that are designed and created by the student; (2) Designer: based on designs by the student, includes CAD and drawings; (3) Non-Designer: essay-based for those studying to be a gemologist, appraiser, watchmaker, bench jeweler, or retailer. The ECE Advisory Board Impact Scholarship is offered by the College of Science and Engineering for continuing Seattle University undergraduates. Eligible students must have completed at least one-quarter of coursework at SU. The Tang Scholarship is for Asian/Pacific Islander youth, self-identified as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender who have demonstrated involvement in the LGBT community. Applicants must self-identify as Asian or Pacific Islander (at least 25 percent Asian or Pacific Islander ancestry), lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender and involved in the LGBT community. Applicants must be graduates of a high school in one of the nine Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Napa, Sonoma or Solano, and they must be between the age of 17 and 25 on 30 April 2023. Two letters of reference from a teacher or academic advisor, and from a work or volunteer supervisor, a youth leader or personal acquaintance are required. These scholarships are renewable for a maximum of three additional years (for a total of four years), provided each student annually meets the renewal requirements. The Susan Schulman Begley Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to those who must identify as a woman, who is establishing herself as a head of household and a Single Mom, and due to extreme circumstances, following the dissolution of an abusive or emotionally traumatic relationship, has no other adequate financial means, and requires funds to meet immediate needs for herself and her children, including rent and food. Established in 2016, the Ramblers Scholarship supports student athletes pursuing an undergraduate education who self-identify publicly as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or intersex (LGBTQI), or as demonstrated and committed straight allies. Applicants may be a graduating high school student who plans to attend a recognized undergraduate college or university in the United States; or is an already matriculated US undergraduate college student. The ideal scholarship candidate will have a clearly described need for financial support; be significantly impacted by this scholarship; be able to articulate their personal and professional goals; be involved in extracurricular activities with demonstrated passion and commitment; show leadership in academics, extracurriculars, and/or athletics; have a reasonable probability of completing their degree; and demonstrate an interest in community service, involvement, or volunteerism. Eligible applicants for the On To the Future (OTF) must meet the following criteria: (A) undergraduate or Graduate Studentss at an accredited North American institution or a recent college graduate who resides in North America. (B) Students must be from a community underrepresented in the geosciences, such as low-income, people of color, First Generation Student Students, non-traditional, Women's, Veteranss, LGBTQ, and/or persons with disabilities.
